A.S.P.I.R.E. -The structured day program provides skill building, education, and resources for individuals with Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.

- Individuals who
- desire to participate in programs with peers
- require day programming
- desire skills to obtain employment
- require supervision and request participating in day activities
- were recently in trouble with the authorities and have been court ordered for day programming
- were discharged from the hospital and were recommended to participate in some type of outpatient programming
- What Will You Experience
- In the ASPIRE program you will participate in group discussion and activites which will help you focus on developing the necessary skills to get along with others, increase independence, and gain the tools that will help you feel more in control of your life.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in the following
- Groups - Social Skill Training, Anger Management, Stress Management
- Education - Financial, Safety, Vocational, Thinking Errors, Social-Sexual Boundaries
- Expressive Therapy - Art, Music
- Wellness - Health Awareness, Meditation, Relaxation, Exercise, Mental Health Symptom Managment, and Medication Education
- The Day Program Team
- The ASPIRE Program is developed and provided by Dr. Carmine Nardis and his team of experienced psychological professionals who will implement and oversee the program
- Getting Started
- To begin, you or someone on your behalf will need to contact you Franklin County Service Coordinator to request participation in the ASPIRE day program and to make sure you qualify fo the service. When you have been informed that you can participate in this program your Services Coordinator can request an intake package to complete the forms to begin the process. Once the packet has been completed and sent back to our office the Service Coordinator will set up an ISP meeting with the ASPIRE staff to guide you through the rest of the process.
- Your Schedule and Attendance
- Programming will be available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. Attendance will be determined as part of the intake process. Please wear comfortable clothing for freedome of movement and the variable indoor temperatures. No lonch or snacks will be abalable - coffee and water is provided.

- Located at 6430 East Main Street, Suite 101, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, one block East of Brice Road on the left hand side directly across the street from Ethan Allen Furniture. Ample parking can be found in the front and side of the building.
