The Central Ohio Health & Wellness Center, Inc. is a nonprofit agency with the mission of providing specialized mental health services to individuals with both developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Approxomately one to two million Americans or approximatly one third of all people with developmental disabilities have a significant behavioral, mental, or personality disorder necessitating mental health services.

While people with developmental disabilities experience the full range of mental health disorders they are among the most under served and misunderstood populations by the mental health industry.  Appropriate mental health services to people with developmental disabilities while necessary and critical, are complicated, challenging, and scarce.
